Providing training booklets about the prevention of sexual abuse of children to adults and organizations serving children in the Kearney Area.

Supporting the funding for an artist/educator to teach pottery in Park, Emerson and Bryant elementary schools in 2011/2012.
- Kearney Area Children’s Museum – $1,000
Providing child-sized table and chairs to support a new programming classroom.
- Legal Aid of Nebraska – $1,500
Assisting costs to represent domestic violence victims living in Kearney/Buffalo County for low-income community members.
- Museum of Nebraska Art- $500
Aid with funding for the annual Student Art Exhibition.

- Goodwill Industries of Greater Nebraska, Inc. – $1,008.98
Purchase of two iPads and two programs to use in an educational project for people with disabilities.
- Pleasanton Volunteer Fire Department -$4,000
Assist in funding purchase of community ambulance.
- Guardian Angels Life Services - $1,800
Assistance in purchasing three CPU’s and purchase Office XP software.
- Great Plains Paralyzed Veterans of America – $2,500
Partial funding of Sled Hockey Program for disabled people (not only veterans).
- Kearney Public Schools Foundation - $1,500
Assist in funding the artist fee and installation for a community-wide art competition for the new Kenwood Elementary mural.
- Mid-America Arts Alliance - $2,826
Provide training through supplies, materials, workshop materials, website and listserv to benefit the Frank House and Buffalo County Historical Society.
- Buffalo County Historical Society/Trails & Rails - $6,452.13
Aiding in the restoration of a log cabin donated to the museum.
- Main Street Kearney, Inc. – $1,000
Assist in funding the Downtown Kearney Harvest Festival promoting producer-to-consumer marketing activity and agri-tourism.
- American Red Cross – Fort Kearney Chapter – $1,000
Provide partial funding for The Scrubby Bear Story program that teaches children about germs and proper hand washing techniques.

- Nebraska Kidney Association – $870.00
Supporting early detection screening in Kearney for individuals at risk of developing kidney disease.

- Christians for Christian Education – $500.00
Provide funding for playground equipment at the new Faith Christian School.
- Kearney Area Storytelling Festival – $1,000.00
Assisting with the cost of bringing Bill Harley to the Merryman Performing Arts Center.
- Nebraska Vocational Rehabilitation – $2,000.00
Supporting a job coach position during the summer months to assist in community outreach to businesses and individual support for graduating students.
