Jan Rodehorst


Jan and her husband, Keith, have been involved in a variety of recreation businesses including a marina, and campgrounds. They keep busy with family, travel and business.

Julie Speirs


Julie is a retired newspaper publisher who has always enjoyed being involved in the community. She says, having extra time to volunteer and travel is the best gig ever.

Brian Bosshamer


Brian has been involved in the community for 23 years, mainly in the UNL Extension. He has a passion for youth and agriculture. He and his wife, Ann Marie, have two daughters and live on a farm by Amherst, caring for their land and cattle and enjoying life with their girls.

Nathan Bruner

Nathan and his wife, Sara, have three children. The Kearney Area has provided many blessings to their family for which they are indescribably grateful. 

Jerry Hellman

Jerry is a CPA with Hellman, Main, Coslor and Kathol, P.C. He grew up in Kearney, raised his family in Kearney and has invested in various businesses in Kearney throughout his lifetime.

Jon Brandt

Jon is a lawyer who enjoys volunteering at church and community organizations, spending time with his wife and three children, and podcasting about Kearney.

Jordan Cochran

Jordan is a dentist and owns a dental practice in Kearney, and enjoys volunteering for many organizations in the community. She and her husband, Brian, also stay busy attending activities for their four children.

Brette Ensz

As the Assistant Director of the First-Year Program at UNK, Brette loves working with college students and helping them transition from high school. She also loves spending time with her husband, two sons, and dog.

Bob Lammers

Bob is retired after a 37-year career with Farm Credit Services of America. His wife, Marilyn, was a family and consumer science teacher for 36 years with the Kearney Public Schools and have been married for 43 years. 

Stan Dart

For more than 50 years, Kearney has been at the center of Stan's family’s life and has given them more than they can ever repay. 

Bryan Kuntz

Bryan Kuntz has worked for Intellicom since 2003 where he is currently the VP of Operations. Bryan and his wife, Candy, live in Kearney and are parents to three wonderful kids.

Leslie Martin

Leslie and her husband John live south of Pleasanton where they farm and ranch. Now that their two daughters are adults, and Leslie no longer works as a Special Education Administrator, she has a lot of time to volunteer with many organizations in the Kearney area.

Heidi Narber-Richter

Heidi has worked as a real estate agent in Kearney and the surrounding area for the past 25 years. She and her husband have three children and when she's not selling real estate, you can find her cheering them on at their many events and activities. 

Carol Pelster

Carol is the Branch Manager at NebraskaLand National Bank. When she's not at work, she enjoys being out in the community attending the many activities and events Kearney has to offer.

Bridget Sharp

Bridget is a native of Kearney and mother of three.  She is on the Kearney Catholic High School Board and together with her husband, Jason, facilitates Rooted, an ecumenical youth group for high school students.

Jonathan Nikkila

Jonathan is the Senior Vice-President at 50CAN, a national organization that works to ensure that a high quality public education is available to all children. 

Shellie Seeba

Shellie is a financial advisor with Edward Jones. She is married to Clay who teaches at Meadowlark Elementary and has two kids. They have been in Kearney for over 10 years. When she is not at work, you can find her on a field or court coaching or watching their children's sporting activities. 

David Wiebe

David is a retired orthopedic surgeon, born and raised in India by missionary parents who taught him the joy of serving and giving. Since retirement, David has had more time and resources to serve, give and indulge in his long time pleasure of watercolor painting.
