Funding to help compensate the orchestra, soloists, venue and miscellaneous expenses for a performance of Handel’s Messiah at the Merryman Performing Arts Center.

Funding to support the Advanced Odyssey Plan, which will provide online tools for the public to access Buffalo County records and images from anywhere.
Double R Horse Rescue – $1,000
Funding to help buy hay to feed the rescued horses under their care.
Friends Program of Kearney – $4,000
Funding to go toward their mentorship program, providing access to local activities and events for their participants.
Kearney Community Sustainable Housing – $5,000
Funding to help with organization startup costs and plans to provide up to 72 transitional housing units in the area.

Funding to support a free Family Arts Festival at Harmon Park that will feature activities from more than twenty organizations.
Kearney Housing Development Corporation – $5,660
Funding to go toward their Meals on Wheels program to reach those with nutritional needs.

Funding to help provide more books to be given out to children in Kearney.

Funding to help address the feral cat population in south-central Kearney through a Trap-Neuter-Return system.

PAWS University (University of Nebraska at Kearney) – $5,000
PAWS University is a curriculum-based summer camp for elementary students on UNK’s campus. The camp is committed to making educational and engaging summer experiences accessible for all students.
Pleasanton Agriculture Department – $5,000
Funding for Operation GROW, which is intended to fulfill a community need of establishing an education component through Agriculture Education to construct a greenhouse and a community garden as part of the project.
Prairie Art Brothers – $500
Funding to help purchase podcast equipment associated with brining accomplished poets to Kearney for readings and writing workshops at the Kearney Public Library.

Buffalo County Community Health Partners: Be Well Collaborative – $5,000
Providing funding for the Farmers Market to expand access to locally grown produce, as well as nutrition education, for Buffalo County residents.
Classic Car Collection – $2,500
Providing funding for audio and video technology updates for the Classic Car Collection displays.
Crossroads Mission Avenue – $4,500
Providing funding to furnish the new transitional housing facility in Kearney with beds and mattresses that are sturdy and easy to clean.
East Lawn Food Bank – $3,000
Purchasing materials to install covered handicap ramps and a loading dock for access to their new food pantry.
HelpCare Clinic – $2,000
Funding to update HelpCare’s physical space, making work more effective and efficient for staff and volunteers.
Junior Achievement – $1,500
Providing funding for curriculum for financial literacy and workforce education programs for vie classrooms in Kearney.
Kearney Community Theatre – $1,000
Funding to offer a production opportunity of Charlotte’s Web to area 3rd-8th graders.

Funding to design, develop, host, train, program and provide a website for the chronicle and celebration of all of Kearney’s arts.

Provide funding in order to aid the Activate Buffalo County Coalition in development and implantation of a physical activity toolkit for Buffalo County businesses.

Provide funding in order to support a scouting unit chartered by the Kearney Community Learning Center (KCLC).
City of Kearney-Park and Recreation Dept. – $5,000
Provide funding for equipment for the Brad Bowman Accessible Sports Field.
Compass – $1,500
Provide funding in order to purchase a sedan to reach families in remote locations.
Crane River Theater – $1,000
To assist with housing costs to bring in professional artists to the community during the summer.
Faith Christian Schools – $500
Provide funding in order to purchase the web based Accelerated Reader Program.

Provide funding in order to support five programs that will help to enlighten and inspire visitors with musical performances, storytelling and Native American dancing that reflect the cultural heritage of Nebraska.

Provide funding in order to update the HVAC system to a gas unit to save money each month.

Provide funding in order to bring in two National Professional Storytellers.

Provide funding in order to purchase a Pool Access Wheel Chari to provide independent accessibility for disabled people in and around the aquatic facilities.
Kearney Housing Development Corporation – $1,000
Provide funding in order to assist the Kearney Manor Walk-Fit Program to cover the cost of bringing in an instructor to teach Walk-Fit.
Kearney Housing Development Corporation/Meals on Wheels – $2,000
Provide funding in order to assist the Meals on WHeels program to continue to serve a noon meal Monday through Friday to people in Kearney.
Kearney Public Schools Foundation: Northeast Elementary School – $2,000
Provide funding to aid in updating the Northeast Elementary School's 40-year-old playground equipment.

Provide funding in order to provide hospital grade furniture for the Memory Care Unit to improve care of the residents with dementia.

Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation – $2,500
Create “Stop the Bleed” kits containing gloves, bleeding control dressing, and a tourniquet for first responders to have the ability to immediately respond to reduce trauma-related deaths. They will assemble the kits for large venues and train them on how to use it.
Junior Achievement District of Kearney – $1,000
Purchase curriculum materials for three classrooms.

Assisted with their "Operation Shine" special needs camp, for children 7-12 with autism or related conditions.

Sponsored the "Bring up Grades (BUG)" program at Bryant Elementary to give recognition to students who raise and maintain their grades.

Aided in purchasing and installing new carpeting and ceiling inserts for the museum’s elevator, and new carpeting on the second floor for safety and greater quality of ambiance.

Aid in teaching social skills to autistic children and provide autism education to staff and fellow students.

Obtain new Welch-Allen vital signs monitor for the senior living facility that will enter data electronically into the patient’s file.

Purchase one piece of equipment for the outdoor fitness park to be located at Yanney Park.

Provide the KHS Band with a wrap for their trailer for increased visibility and pride.

Assist with the kitchen remodel project which will help increase storage space, update work area equipment and repair the ceiling. The building is registered as a historic landmark in Kearney.

Provide civil legal services to six domestic violence victims living in the Kearney/Buffalo County area.
Nebraska Children’s Home Society – $2,040
Expand the Teen Chat program in the Kearney community to help teen girls access formal support systems in their community and increase their understanding of the importance of positive decision making and goal setting.
