ABOUT THIS GRANT
The Building for Tomorrow Grant typically funds projects or programs in the Kearney area and surrounding communities. Grants are made to nonprofit, federally tax-exempt 501(c)(3) qualified organizations, or organizations delivering a project or program which have a fiscal relationship with a qualified charity.

HOW TO APPLY
-
Review the Building for Tomorrow (BFT) Grant Guidelines to make sure your organization qualifies and is a good fit for this grant for your application to be considered.
-
There will be a Letter of Intent (LOI) form and review process. Note that the LOI is due 15 days before the overall grand application deadline. Once the LOI is approved, nonprofits will be given access to an online grant application, unique to the Building for Tomorrow Fund.
-
Complete an online BFT Letter of Intent (LOI). The online link is available by clicking the "APPLY" button below. No grant proposals will be considered without an online application. For an applicant tutorial of our grant software, click here.
-
All questions on the online application need to be answered. Supporting documents are required (see guidelines).
-
Applications must be submitted online on or before February 15 or August 15 (depending on the cycle) no later than 11:59 p.m. This is a firm deadline -- please do not call for an extension.
If you would like to discuss a grant idea, verify if your proposal or organization qualifies, or if you have any questions at all, please call (308) 237-3114.
