The Kearney Area Community Foundation manages over 30 scholarship funds. The crtieria for these scholarships are varied, so please take a moment to search our scholarships to determine if you are eligible to apply.

Giving for Good
Giving for Good is a series hosted by the Kearney Area Community Foundation on philanthropy, planned giving, incorporating charitable giving into your life, and other aspects of charitable gift planning that may require special consideration and expert insight. At Giving for Good sessions we will learn from local and regional experts and professional advisors. This series is open to anyone interested in learning more about how to incorporate purposeful giving into their life.

Farm Succession Planning

Planning for the future of your family's farm is no small feat. There are complexities and considerations in addition to those of the regular estate planning process. Max Beal of Tye & Rowling PC, LLO will guide us through the basics of estate planning, present specific considerations relevant to family farms, and touch on ways you can support your local community. You'll leave with a better understanding of farm succession planning and how you can tailor a plan to reflect your values by caring for both your family and the place you call home.

11:30 a.m. - free lunch is served.
12:15 p.m. - presentation begins. There will be time for questions & answers after the session.
