The Kearney Area Community Foundation manages over 30 scholarship funds. The crtieria for these scholarships are varied, so please take a moment to search our scholarships to determine if you are eligible to apply.

Giving for Good

Giving for Good is a series hosted by the Kearney Area Community Foundation on philanthropy, planned giving, incorporating charitable giving into your life, and other aspects of charitable gift planning that may require special consideration and expert insight. At Giving for Good sessions we will learn from local and regional experts and professional advisors. This series is open to anyone interested in learning more about how to incorporate purposeful giving into their life.

Legacy by Design: Estate Planning for Meaningful Impact
Join us in July for our first session on estate planning with a purpose. Whether you’re updating your will, thinking about future giving, or just starting to plan, this free seminar will help you explore how to give today as well as leave a legacy that reflects the people and causes you care about most.
Featuring estate planning attorney Jack Besse with Parker, Grossart, & Bahensky LLC, an expert in helping families plan wisely and give meaningfully.
You’ll learn:

The basics of estate planning: wills, trusts, and beneficiary designations

There will be two session times to choose from, July 8 in the morning and July 10 in the early evening. Both sessions will be held at the Kearney Area Community Foundation's Community Collaboration Space (2908 W 39th Street, Suite A). More information on each is below.
